Community Jameel and J-PAL MENA co-host a panel discussion at the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum highlighting how targeted data and evidence-based approaches can inform and enhance humanitarian action.
Using real-world examples, the panel will showcase the Jameel Institute–Realtime Intelligent Support for Emergencies (RISE), which provides data analysis and modelling tools to enhance public health responses in conflict zones, as well as practical guidance for both governments and humanitarian agencies to measure and prioritise effective aid responses during crises.
Launched in 2024, the Jameel Institute-RISE is led by the Jameel Institute at Imperial College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, with a consortium of partners including the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Médecins sans Frontières and the Geneva Water Hub.
