UNGA 78 | WHO75 Wellbeing Concert

The Jameel Arts & Health Lab and Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute present the WHO75 Wellbeing Concert as part of Carnegie Hall's Wellbeing Series and on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly. This music and wellbeing experience features multi-Grammy award-winning mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato and assistant conductor at the Metropolitan Opera Howard Watkins, hosted by Yale School of Medicine assistant professor of psychiatry Matthew Steinfeld. The event will engage attendees through a collective creative experience that offers a unique perspective on the benefits of music.

The concert will take place on 20 September 2023 at 18h00 in the Weill Music Room, Resnick Education Wing, Carnegie Hall, during the UNGA Healing Arts Week by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organisation. This unique musical experience is supported by partnership between NYC Health, New York University, CULTURUNNERS and the Open Mind Project.

The concert will be followed by a private reception including a special announcement on the Jameel Arts & Health Lab x Lancet global series on the health benefits of the arts.
