Ejada, formerly TREE, is a collaboration between Save the Children and the MIT Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL).
The initiative comprises a systems-wide teacher training programme that uses compassion to help teachers overcome trauma and deliver effective teaching.
Ejada was launched in 2019 with a pilot in Jordan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Community Jameel and Dubai Cares, later joined by Alwaleed Philanthropies.
Since launching, Ejada has reached over 283,000 people and its curriculum has been adopted by the Ministry of Education.
