Healing Arts Scotland

The Jameel Arts and Health Lab and Scottish Ballet present Healing Arts Scotland, a week-long celebration of the importance of the arts to physical, mental and social health.

Taking place between 19-23 August 2024, key events include an opening celebration performance at the Scottish Parliament, two days of speakers and panel discussions on the healing effects of the arts as part of Edinburgh International Festival, a wellbeing concert in Glasgow and a series of special events in Aberdeen, Orkney, Lewis and at Dumfries House, home of The King's Foundation.

In an aim to highlight how many brilliant events take place across Scotland, encouraging more people to take part, everyone across Scotland is welcome to register an event they would like to be included on the Healing Arts Scotland website.
