Bocelli-Jameel Scholars Anastasia Koorn and Henna Mun star as Cherubino and Susanna in a Royal College of Music production of Mozart’s ‘Le nozze di Figaro’ held at the Britten Theatre at the RCM from 17-22 March 2025.
The production is directed by acclaimed director, composer and lyricist Jeremy Sams and conducted by the RCM’s director of opera, Michael Rosewell.
Launched in 2019, the Andrea Bocelli Foundation-Community Jameel Scholarship supports full-time vocal studies students at the RCM.
The RCM awards the scholarship to talented musicians based on merit at audition and their need for support to overcome barriers and access world-class training. Since 2019, the Bocelli-Jameel Scholarship has been awarded to five individuals from four countries.
