Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo

The Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo is an education institution offering a two-year programme in the traditional arts, including courses in sacred geometry, observational drawing, colour harmony and decorative floral patterns, and specialised training in ceramics, glass and gypsum, metalwork and woodwork.

Located in Fustat in Historic Cairo, the Jameel House in Cairo was launched in 2009 and is a collaboration between The King's Foundation, Community Jameel and the Cultural Development Fund of Egypt.

The Jameel House in Cairo accepts around 20 students each year. The programme is delivered by The King's Foundation School of Traditional Arts according to the same standards as courses at its London campus.
