The Jameel House in Jeddah 10th anniversary celebration

Community Jameel, Art Jameel and the Nafisa Shams Academy co-host a private evening exhibition, panel discussion and networking dinner to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Jeddah.

Following an exhibition of artwork and products by students of the Jameel House in Jeddah as well as the Nafisa Shams Academy, a panel discussion commemorates the remarkable achievements and future aspirations of The Jameel House in Jeddah graduates. The evening concludes with a networking dinner at the Fenaa Hall and courtyard.

About the Jameel House in Jeddah

Located in Al-Balad in Historic Jeddah, the Jameel House in Jeddah operated as an educational institute teaching traditional crafts between 2015 and 2021. With a mission to preserve and champion Saudi’s oldest crafts, around 15 students graduated annually from the Jameel House in Jeddah’s one-year training programme, developed and delivered by The King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, according to the same principles and standards as the courses at the London campus.

The Jameel House in Jeddah is part of a network of Jameel Houses worldwide developed in collaboration between Community Jameel and the King’s Foundation, with the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo opening in 2009, and the Jameel House of World Traditional Arts in Scotland in 2025.
