Convened by Hassan Allam and Community Jameel, this event explores how sustainable approaches to architecture, construction and urban design can help mitigate and support adaptation to climate change, drawing key lessons from the building of the Grand Egyptian Museum, opening in 2023.

Gathering leaders from the fields of construction, academia and development, together with the general supervisor of the GEM, this meeting aims to highlight the perspectives and real-world experiences of voices from Egypt, the region, and the wider world on the role of the build environment in tackling the climate emergency.
